SunDrench is a Canadian snack brand created by a team of food industry experts in a manufacturing facility in British Columbia. The group already had industry-leading food processing technology and their own factory, but they needed guidance on how to transform that capability into a consumer-facing brand that people would recognize, trust, and love.
That’s where Mélange Marketing Communications stepped in. We helped SunDrench define their brand positioning as a Canadian healthy snack company built on clean, natural ingredients. The goal was to reach health-conscious consumers — families, parents, and younger generations who are looking for convenient snacks that balance nutrition with great taste.
Through in-depth market research and competitive analysis, we guided the SunDrench team in narrowing down their extensive product catalogue to a focused selection of SKUs with the strongest market potential. We identified freeze-dried yogurt products and Canadian-sourced berries as the brand’s flagship offerings — both highly appealing to modern consumers and strongly differentiated in the marketplace.

On the creative side, we collaborated with international designers to develop packaging tailored for both Canadian and Chinese markets. To support sales and promotion, we designed brochures and marketing materials for tradeshows, ensuring SunDrench stood out in a crowded exhibition environment.
Digital strategy was another key part of the project. We built a family-oriented website that reflects the brand’s values, while also managing its e-commerce operations to create a smooth shopping experience and establish a strong Digital Brand Presence. Beyond online channels, we supported retail expansion by connecting SunDrench with select retail partners, aligning with their B2B sales model.
The results went beyond consumer recognition. SunDrench has successfully attracted not only customers and resellers but also new industry partners interested in private label collaborations with their manufacturing team. What started as advanced food technology has now evolved into a consumer-loved Canadian snack brand with international reach.
Today, SunDrench products are available both online and in stores across Canada and China — with Sam’s Club China being their largest retail partner.
